Summer is here!

As its name implies, summer squash marks the beginning of the summer produce season at the farmers’ markets.  Some varieties have exotic names such as Zephyr, Goldbar, Eightball or Pattypan, but they can all be cooked or shaved raw into a delicious meal!  Visit your local farmers’ market today for the best selection of summer squash, and prepare to be surprised by the variety of colors, shapes and sizes!
